Peter E. Grays

Peter E. Grays, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a board certified general and laparoscopic surgeon committed to providing the safest, most effective care for his patients. As a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School Alumni Association, Dr. Grays demonstrates his dedication to continuing education.
Dr. Grays is a native Texan. He was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Worth. He attended public school in Fort Worth and graduated with honors from Eastern Hills High School. During his high school tenure, he was a member of the football team, the jazz band, and the orchestra. Dr. Grays was honored as a Distinguished Graduate of Eastern Hill High School in 1996.
Dr. Grays completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University, where he received an honors degree in biology. While at Baylor, he was a member of the Firm Society, Biological Honor Society, and Pre-Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Grays attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, completed his clinical rotation at Parkland Memorial Hospital, and graduated as a Harold and May E. Sanders scholar.
Currently, Dr. Grays is a member of the National Medical Association, American Medical Association, Southern Medical Association, Society of General Surgeons, and the Society for Laparoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Grays has authored several scientific papers concerning the gastrointestinal tract and the study of cancer, breast disease, and gastrointestinal disease.
Dr. Grays is married and resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where he serves as team physician for Eastern Hills High School.
